Asha Poovaiah: I have always had a great passion for flowers and gardening, which has developed into a hobby of flower arranging. I studied floral design for two years in San Diego, attending numerous workshops and creative floral design classes. I took part in several floral design competitions, and won a few awards. I generally teach hands-on classes, encouraging students to express their own styles. I have taught floral design for the past ten years in Pleasanton, HARD, LARPD and Castro Valley.
